Famous Sabaneta Elders

 Hola hola! Hope everyone had a amazing Thanksgiving! That is not celebrated down here if you were wondering. We had another amazing week here so ima get into it! 


We got to go to the temple on Saturday with 3 of our recent converts which was a total of about 10 hours in a toy bus it was terrible. We had to be at the church at 4am and turns out bald dude here scheduled the bus for the wrong Saturday so we has to wait a while. (He also had to ask me what time the bus was going to be at the church, buddys missing some brain cells) But the temple was absolutly beautiful and we got to do a ton of baptisms i ended up baptizing like 10 people 5 times per person. I got some crazy names i sounded so white.

Us 4 sabaneta Elders are viral across the DR. The president of the branch was feeding us after church and he lives soooo far so he said hop in the back and we will be right there... for those of you who dont know missionary are not supposed to ride in the back. Some lady took a video and its spreading. Lets say these Dominicans can spot out us 4 white boys so fast its like they want us to sign their shirt. Every single person we see says they saw us on tik tok its outrageous. We ended up getting a call from Pres 2 nights ago becuase its taking over and people on whats app are now making stickers and sending it around.😳


Other stuff!
-Elder Morrow tripped on his own foot a fell down the big stairs in the temple made a big ruckus.
-cake for Thanksgiving-lowkey was buns
-we had a 4 margaritas to take the missionarys to the beach and we all had a race(a margarita is the 3 wheeled buggy)
-we got to play on the beach and run up some ultimate Frisbee
-the other elders had a baptism and when the old dude got in the water he tried to dunk himself hahah hes so old and can barely walk so it made it even funnier.

  Well, this week has been full of surprises.We had to drop two of our people that we had on for baptism dates. But one of the other ones got pushed back A week so don't know if we'll have any baptism this transfer but. Been able to find a lot of cool new people And get to know them too. This week was really busy between having zone conference and companion exchanges It was a pretty hectic week. I love walking in the streets.Cause all you hear's gringo, gringo, non-stop and all the little kids come running up to you and try to shake your hand and run their hands down your arm.Trying to slip the bracelet or watch or your ring off your fingers its pretty funny.   This week went good so far had a lot of lessons with people also have found a lot of other people that i got a lot of faith in. Somone pointed out to me that my spelling sucks so just ask my mom what i got on that stupid test in highschool and you will understand. It was bad.... i must say the bugs and rodents here are getting worse, lot more bugs and spinders in the apartment and outside. Yuck giant spiders here. I freaking found or i guess it found me it was like a rat guinea pig thing and was albino... we were teaching this lady in the street and it walked by me it took every bit of me to not kick it but you know i was like no im a missionary... and what if it was somones pet or somthin i dont know but it left me alone and just passed by. I found out the the song " By your grace" by cody johnson is allowed here sooooo its been on repeat for a while now i know the whole song i need the spanish version now.   This week was a full one to say the least a lot happend. Lots of really touching experiences that were really cool! I got to go on a companion exchange and got to got to the heart of down down santiago. The elder i went with in charge of all social media and all the referrals that people put in. So i ended up not going out in the morning and just on a computer going through them and calling them. Crazy how many people hit the link and fill it out but then say they never did it haha. Like buddy you filled out your whole name email and phone number haha. But after that we got to go out for a little and met with this really old lazy. She was the sweetest person ever. Shes 81 and we got to talking and giving her a lesson and she told us a story that was pretty touching. She said one day she started to feel really hot and her skin started to look black including her face. She went to a doctor and she said it got worse and she said she was never going back.
