Elder Cannon Eagar- Dominican Republic Santiago Mission February 2025 - February 2027

  Hola todos!!! Hope everyone is doing well and are enjoying the cool weather back home. But to start my comp Elder lynn is now gone he got transferred away and im still here in Sabaneta for a 3rd transfore. But i am training again, a new fella strait from the mexico mtc and hes from queen creek and knows a few peps i know so that cool. And i am now district leader which is cool been a good challenge so far hoping it pushes me harder and farther. But i now have Elder Morrow and hes doing great so far. I love being with people when they first experience things here and seeing the reactions. But weve been workin together great and we had a bunch of people pull up to church. We ended up with 8 people that are in teaching which is awsome and the church was so full we pretty much dident have a empty chair.   Hola hola another week and another month down!! I have hit my 8 month mark and 1/3 of the way to the end woop woop!! But i am doing very good! This week went just swell and had some pretty cool experiences so lets start.  -We are currently teaching a family with 2 kids that are 17 and i belive 12. But there are progressing well and have accepted baptism date which is so cool and the other day we walked by their house without even telling the we were going to be in their area and they were outside on the front porch reading their book of mormon together it was actually so awsome and later we got to talk to them and see what they understood and it was so cool too see.  -We had the baptism of Sol and Luna which was so cool and awsome to be apart of getting the family back to church and helping the two get baptized.  -We then had a ward activity and had quite a few people pull up and make it happen and we met somone new that could potentially have interest with the gos...

 hello everyone we back again. this week went very very well and a lottttt of fun and crazy stuff has happend! But too start it off i got to go on an exchange with an elder and it was very fun and i actully learned a lot. we got to pass by a lot of people and i got to see a whole differnt way of teaching and talking with people. then Elder Jones who lives in the same house as us got a key stuck in the door and a day later and a screwdriver with olive oil and a pair of vice grips it came out. once again we recived some lovely rain and it was a heavy storm. before the storm roled in me and my comp were like hey theres a short cut through this jungle we have like 45 minutes untill out next lesson lets see if its passable.... soo we set off and as soon as we crossed a creek it started rain and hard too it was pretty fun. we got to go to the top a bald hill that kinda looks over our area and we just chilled up there for a while hoping the rain would let up. but after a while we were lik...

  Hola hola! This week i got lots too write about so ill get right into it! To start it off i was shot several times by bb gun by a 7 year old kid that chased us down a alleyway and i was actually kinda scared haha i thought i was going too loose a eye... then he finally stoped shooting and we made truths. We live on the third floor of a apartment and one night i had a kid throw a rock at our glass sliding door so i went out too see what he wanted and this little tiny kid yelles give me 10 pessos. I thought he was pretty funny so i threw him down a 10 pesso coin and told him that its just between us and i see him go running to a store like three houses over and walk out with a little soda😂 i was waiting to be woken up by tons of rocks hitting the door. My companion managed to somhow ask a member if he wanted to be baptized, i think he was a little confused... then we played dominos with a realllllyyyyy old lady and she just started making all sorts of weird animals as we were play...
