Weekly update

This week was so good and went smooth! I witnessed so many thing and saw the hand of God so much! Too start this off I got an opportunity to go on an exchange this week with a missionary that ive known pretty much my whole mission we shared my first area. I went to his area which was like 1 hour or so from my area and we got to work. It was a absolute blast we started knocking out lessons one my one. Every one going smooth and you could just feel the stillness and peace durning these lessons it was crazy. We then had to go back to the house becuase the house Elders dident have keys and to get in the house to work on somthing so we gave them the keys and walked to a lesson. Then after we sent them our location and they picked us up and took us too two of their recent converts. We then called a Margareta and a Margareta is a three wheel machine used for transportation here.. the wheels are bout the size of a basket ball and has like 3 gears and im pretty sure has like a 100cc engine and has a soft top and a bench seat that can fit three but we fit four. We then took this Margareta to a little town bout 10 or 15 minutes out. We again just started knocking out lessons and the two recent converts where such a help and so funny. One was about 14 and the other 18. They spoke a bit of english and said some pretty out of pocket stuff that made the night a blast. We relized we forgot to get our keys back from the house Elders around this moment so they had to drive back and give them back it was a mess. But it was a very fun exchange and they had AC in their room i absolutely froze that night. In my area near my house the city is making sidwalks all around our apartment and they were bringing in trucks and we were walking down the road they came in on and there was a big dip and a big hill that they had to drive up and the truck had lost like a ton of concrete in the middle of this three way intersection and now its all dried up and cars scrape on it and its crazy like they just left it😂. Love the Dominican experience here. We were kind of hurtin for people this last week had a lot of people not progressing so we had to move on. But this week i was lookin on the map and found a line of houses that was like in the middle of the jungle and a little like block of houses that has never been hit. This area had no dots on it so that means missionaries never have gotten a contact there. So one rainy day we headed out there and knocked all these doors and we got around 10 people that said they were interested so i was pretty pumped. Then two days later also a rainy day we went out there to go get a lesson with them. Every single dot we hit we had a amazing lesson and tought their whole family which is the greatest feeling when the whole family is listening and is asking questions. We passed by one right at sun down and walked into their little like farm area and there was like 10 people standing they and they go " oh we were just talking bout you and church tomorrow "! I was like hmmm we will see tomorrow at church. But we tought this lesson in what felt like Noahs Ark there were chickes running between out legs turkeys, doves, goats, pigs. But we had such a good lesson with these big family and there live on the edge of this nice green field with horses and durring the lesson the sun was setting and even though there were so many animals and was loud it was so peaceful and calm between the familys attention and the sun setting its a feeling like no other. Im loving it here pretty much every day this week around 5:00 it gets stormy and sometimes rains but weve had such crazy thunder storms. Its just a constant rumble its the coolest thing ever, for like ours straight just rumbling. We were on a bus heading home one night and the roads here aren't too bad but some spots are worse then the roads in flagstaff. We his this pothole more like a man hole on the right side of the bus and it litterly about broke everyone back and neak I couldent belive the tires were still on or the bus wasent driving down the road like a crab. The driving here everyday amazes me. Ill look through the windshield as we are in a giant but passing cars on a two lane road with a like of on coming trafic and it suddenly becomes a 3 lane. Absolutely terrifying different kind of bread drivers here. Im always joking that they need to bring these drives to one of those double decker buss races because that would be a show!

Scripture of the week
127:17 "Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."
-Dont loose sleep over the things that our out of control and worry bout what we have power over. No point in worrying and making a big deal over somthing that we have absolutely no control over change our day or even life. Worry bout whats in you power like you mood you actions and words. Those are all up to you and no one can do those for you.
Later peeps!
