Slippery Stairs

 Hola hola! Hope everyone had a good week!! This week here went smoothly and was pretty fun actually! We had a lot going on with people in teaching and activities. We had our interviews with President on tuesday and that all went very well exept we missed out bus we litterly wached it drive away so had to wait a extra hour for the next one to go home. We even had a few crazy short crazy rain and wind storms. Everytime it rains here its gets veey windy and it rain sidways and leaks through the shutters and the doors. Dominican housing for ya... friday we had our usual activity at the church and we had like 4 people show up so it wasent bad but.. its crazy how small this branch is. There is only like three families and a few random people its so small and hard to work with but its ok. The president has a truck so he helps us out a lot which is very nice. Then on Saturday we got to go to one of the near by towns with some people and watch a live broadcast of the tabernacle choir which was playing in the capital. It was very beautiful and there was a bunch of people it was awsome very spiritual. Then we had to leave really quick to get home before it was too late and as we pulled out onto the road we could see the sky and like always it was sooo pretty i tried taking a picture but it did not turn out for many reasons. But then we got to the church and there was a giant stortm to the south of us and we all just sat there for a little and watched a crazy lightning storm for like 20 ish minutes it was so pretty. Yesterday we had a nice rainstorm and me and my comp went out and we walked up some long metal stairs and talked to the people for a while and left. And my comp was infront of me and took two steps and fell and slid all the way down the stairs... his left foot was by is shoulder and his arms in the air. It looked like a wet rag doll i was dieing laughing but also was worried if he broke somthing. He was ok and was laughing with me it was the highlight of the day it was so funny. There is a kid with a bike that rides without his front tire and has a ipad ziptied to the frame playing music and drives around wheeling its the most dominican thing ever i love it. The front fork you can tell has been in the assfault a few times and i dont know if the front tire would go back on😂 any who the scripture of the week is probverbs 27 verse 17. "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." The people we hang with have a big affect on ourselfs. We need to make sure the people we hang with our shaping our lives for the better and arent damaging it. Thats about all for this week hope yall have a great week and talk to you guys next week!!!

  Well, this week has been full of surprises.We had to drop two of our people that we had on for baptism dates. But one of the other ones got pushed back A week so don't know if we'll have any baptism this transfer but. Been able to find a lot of cool new people And get to know them too. This week was really busy between having zone conference and companion exchanges It was a pretty hectic week. I love walking in the streets.Cause all you hear's gringo, gringo, non-stop and all the little kids come running up to you and try to shake your hand and run their hands down your arm.Trying to slip the bracelet or watch or your ring off your fingers its pretty funny.   This week went good so far had a lot of lessons with people also have found a lot of other people that i got a lot of faith in. Somone pointed out to me that my spelling sucks so just ask my mom what i got on that stupid test in highschool and you will understand. It was bad.... i must say the bugs and rodents here are getting worse, lot more bugs and spinders in the apartment and outside. Yuck giant spiders here. I freaking found or i guess it found me it was like a rat guinea pig thing and was albino... we were teaching this lady in the street and it walked by me it took every bit of me to not kick it but you know i was like no im a missionary... and what if it was somones pet or somthin i dont know but it left me alone and just passed by.   This week was a full one to say the least a lot happend. Lots of really touching experiences that were really cool! I got to go on a companion exchange and got to got to the heart of down down santiago. The elder i went with in charge of all social media and all the referrals that people put in. So i ended up not going out in the morning and just on a computer going through them and calling them. Crazy how many people hit the link and fill it out but then say they never did it haha. Like buddy you filled out your whole name email and phone number haha. But after that we got to go out for a little and met with this really old lazy. She was the sweetest person ever. Shes 81 and we got to talking and giving her a lesson and she told us a story that was pretty touching. She said one day she started to feel really hot and her skin started to look black including her face. She went to a doctor and she said it got worse and she said she was never going back.
