5 months!

 Hello everyone! What a busy week i had and this is how it went! Tuesday night i got my new companion and he is awsome it was fun we were in a trio for like 3 days so that was pretty fun! Then Elder Cook went home thurday night... Its crazy to think that hes home just living life and i have like 19 more months haha. But that just means my spanish can only get better i think. The night before he my companion went home we were were getting some food and a drunk dude came up to us demanding money and yelling at us. There was a dude that was sitting under a shade working on his motorcycle and he came running over and yelled at him and ran him off. It was pretty cool, we are homies now. Then we ran into a dude that was shoveling some dirt so we asked if we could help and he handed me the shovel and i started filling the bucket. Then he says "I can tell this is your first time using a shovel in your life!" In english.. i said "Oh ya why you think that?" "Because the way you are holding it" then proceeds to hold it the same way and start shoveling. I said bro we held it the same freaking way! Then argued some more, Then his daughter grabs the bucket full of dirt i just filled and is draging it with her back like a rainbow. So i said to him "is that ur daughters first time carrying a bucket." He dident think it was funny but all three of us were laughing. Then proceeds to tell me that hes a school bus driver in Indiana so apparently he dose a lot of shoveling... like bro😑 he was also like 4 foot 1 with his high heels. Anyways We had zone conference on thursday and they fed us breakfast and lunch. It was amazing but... it made a bunchhh of people sick and people were throwing up and had fevers for the next two days... including my companion so that was a bummer but hes alive. This sunday i was fortunate to have my first baptism and it was amazing! They definitely deserved it and they are a amazing family! Just about three months or more when i first got here she was a alcoholic and before just was living just to get by. But now she is happy as ever and has a purpose in life and her daughter is so funny and happy. It was amazing to get to see a change so dramatic that you could see every week. They get to go to the temple this coming Saturday and we get to go along with them which is cool. Over all it was a good amazing week and lots happened and kept us busy!

  Well, this week has been full of surprises.We had to drop two of our people that we had on for baptism dates. But one of the other ones got pushed back A week so don't know if we'll have any baptism this transfer but. Been able to find a lot of cool new people And get to know them too. This week was really busy between having zone conference and companion exchanges It was a pretty hectic week. I love walking in the streets.Cause all you hear's gringo, gringo, non-stop and all the little kids come running up to you and try to shake your hand and run their hands down your arm.Trying to slip the bracelet or watch or your ring off your fingers its pretty funny.   This week went good so far had a lot of lessons with people also have found a lot of other people that i got a lot of faith in. Somone pointed out to me that my spelling sucks so just ask my mom what i got on that stupid test in highschool and you will understand. It was bad.... i must say the bugs and rodents here are getting worse, lot more bugs and spinders in the apartment and outside. Yuck giant spiders here. I freaking found or i guess it found me it was like a rat guinea pig thing and was albino... we were teaching this lady in the street and it walked by me it took every bit of me to not kick it but you know i was like no im a missionary... and what if it was somones pet or somthin i dont know but it left me alone and just passed by.   This week was a full one to say the least a lot happend. Lots of really touching experiences that were really cool! I got to go on a companion exchange and got to got to the heart of down down santiago. The elder i went with in charge of all social media and all the referrals that people put in. So i ended up not going out in the morning and just on a computer going through them and calling them. Crazy how many people hit the link and fill it out but then say they never did it haha. Like buddy you filled out your whole name email and phone number haha. But after that we got to go out for a little and met with this really old lazy. She was the sweetest person ever. Shes 81 and we got to talking and giving her a lesson and she told us a story that was pretty touching. She said one day she started to feel really hot and her skin started to look black including her face. She went to a doctor and she said it got worse and she said she was never going back.
