Sweat in the eyes!
This week has gone by so fast feels like it should be Wednesday or somthin. We have been very busy this week and have had a ton of lessons with some good people. Lots and lots of walking back and forth just because people can only meet at specific times. Its been soo hot its been crazy and its only getting hotter. When we get home even the water in the shower isent cool enough to make a difference it feels better but you get out and back to sweating pretty much. Lucky the waters been better so that hasent been a problem for us. We had 6 people come too church this week which is good but it is so hard for people here to continue to come and want to learn. They have a hard time leaving things behind or makeing a sacrifice for somthing. But this sunday we had a bus full of teenager's (Gringos) come to church they are doing some service thing here but. One of the kids played the piano because our ward dosent have anyone and he was alright. Then have a bunch of teenagers try to sing in spanish.... it was so funny. After we got to go to bishops wifes parents house in their truck after. There was a lot of us in a extended cab tocoma so there was a few in the bed. I dont know how things still function down here. Just driving down the road the belt sounded like it was about to burst. The smell of burning oil and the steering wheel shaking like the tires were bout to fall off. The only thing left on the inside was the seats i could see the road in parts of the floor board. Its a upgrade here so when they wash the inside it just drains. We made it and got to eat in their house. It really reminded me of hunting in mexico chickens going crazy a camp fire in the back and sitting under a shade behind the house in the heat and some gooooood food. After we went back to the church to meet up with all the gringos and we went to inactive members and they all shared somthing with them. I had a kid that loved to hunt and fish so you better know what i was doing the entire walk there and back. It made my whole month haha. This week we walked way up to this guy on a hill to share a lesson with him. About 5 minutes in the ground shook and the house started to creak. It lasted only 3 seconds or so but it hit hard my heart droped i honestly freaked out like it moved so much ive never experienced that before. Now i want it again but i dont want it to do damage you know. They keep telling us watch out for the big one its coming. Apparently every 100 years there is like 9. Somthing earthquake and we are past 100 years soooo. But this week there has been so many little things that ive noticed that have made my day better that unless i was thinking about it i prolly would have missed. Everyday no matter what there are small or big things that can turn our day around and make it better! I hope yall have a good week and hope you look for the little things and recognize then. I just wrote half of this with four fat chicks in the back of a Toyota corala thing. I cant even wipe the sweat from going in my eyes oh What a joy.
