3 months

 Well i officially hit 3 months out here! Prettt crazy time here has been slow but fast its a weird concept. Had a pretty good week! We were pretty busy this week and had a lot of lessons with people! As of right now we have 3 people that we have been teaching for a while and they are progressing and learning. We are teaching this lady named Griselda and she is soooo funny. She is always making jokes and trys her best to understand my spanish. Shes been in teaching for about 4 weeks and she is awsome! We even have our own little hand shake and when ever we pull up to her house no matter what shes doing she runs out the door and greets us with a smile. The other day we went on a adventure and went a little far and we looked at a map and we were like well to be back in time we just need to cut through this field and cross this river or go all the way around. So you know me i begged my companion to go through the field. Which wasent a field by the way more like a jungle... but we got to tue river and were like crap i dont know if we can cross here we walked up stream a little and not. Then a random due came from the otger side and told us to go farther up steam so we did. We thought he had a bridge or somthing. We went to where he told us a boom he was on our side. He was in crocs and shorts and prolly weighted around 130 smaller them me. He patted on his back and we were like no way he is gonna carry us across the river. Sure enough he carried both of is across and told us where to go.boy it saved us from walking a long ways. What a miracle hahah. And by the way no i was not gonna take my shoes off and cross this water is so nasty i would prolly die if i got in no joke. Transfers were this week and i am in my same area and still have the same companion so nothin changed. Yesterday we had 8 people in teaching pull up to the first hour at church then had even more pull up during second hour it was awsome. Me and my companion we just talking to everyone and i was able to talk to them and actually understamd and they could understand me! It was so cool so actually be able to talk freely without somone there to help. We have been two people one was a member and the other is not. They have had some problems with drugs and smoking. They made a goal this week to not smoke. They hadent been to church in forever and yesterday they both pulled up. After first hour the dude "Julio" came up to me and was like i did it Eagar i did it! I dident smoke for a week and this week im making a goal for no alcohol! Then he pointed to his girlfriend and was like she needs another week on the drinking problem but shes trying. It really put a smile on my face to see that they are trying and that they want to be better. It relates perfecto to a talk i herd the other day. A lot of people think if you go to church you should be clean and perfect. No ones perfect or even close to it. People think oh i smoked this week or i was drinking this week i dont belong in the church. But this talk talked about a man who smoked a lot. And at first he was like im not good enogh i dont belong. Then it got to where he could sit through a song then would have to go on a smoke break and then would go home. Then got to where he would go on a smoke break and then would come back in. And just kept on getting better and better. Church aint for the perfect its like a repare shop. You mess up on no! Go to church. And these two people from this week showed it perfectly and the smile on his face when he said i did it Eagar! Thats what God wants. He want you to try your best he wants you to be happy. You think he would have had the same joy if he stayed at home and though about drinking... i dont think so. I just thought that was do cool and made my day. The rain has finally let up and i think it only rained once this week so that was kinda nuce to be honest because i wasent soaki g wet all day but. I also listend to a talkt his week that talked about the salt lake temple. It talked about how they made a foundation and they had to hide it so they wouldent be cought. Then they realized that the sandwtone cracked. They wondered why there efforts to bulid this temple was bringing them troubles. They later replaced the sandstone with granite. What would have happend if they had left the sandstone. We often think about why am we go through hard times. We only look at the bad part half the time. What we dont see is the blessing it brings us. It makes us stonger or maybe makes us have a different view on things. We can take it two different ways. One way is say why and complaining. The other being look what this tought me and how it made me stonger. View things differently and you will see them differently for a good.   Well, this week has been full of surprises.We had to drop two of our people that we had on for baptism dates. But one of the other ones got pushed back A week so don't know if we'll have any baptism this transfer but. Been able to find a lot of cool new people And get to know them too. This week was really busy between having zone conference and companion exchanges It was a pretty hectic week. I love walking in the streets.Cause all you hear's gringo, gringo, non-stop and all the little kids come running up to you and try to shake your hand and run their hands down your arm.Trying to slip the bracelet or watch or your ring off your fingers its pretty funny.   This week was a full one to say the least a lot happend. Lots of really touching experiences that were really cool! I got to go on a companion exchange and got to got to the heart of down down santiago. The elder i went with in charge of all social media and all the referrals that people put in. So i ended up not going out in the morning and just on a computer going through them and calling them. Crazy how many people hit the link and fill it out but then say they never did it haha. Like buddy you filled out your whole name email and phone number haha. But after that we got to go out for a little and met with this really old lazy. She was the sweetest person ever. Shes 81 and we got to talking and giving her a lesson and she told us a story that was pretty touching. She said one day she started to feel really hot and her skin started to look black including her face. She went to a doctor and she said it got worse and she said she was never going back.   Yo yo this week been wack.. I woke up Tuesday morning to a phone call from the mission president. I was like oh no what did we do... he said pack you bags your going to Tamboril at 11:30 we were very confused at this point we didn't know why or nothing. After some later searching around we were switching houses with the hermanas because they had been followed by people multiple times and they dident feel safe. Soooo we were nominated or somthin to replace them hahha. But i was pumped because tamborin is outside of santiago city part. Its right on the edge of this giant mountain range and is sooooo pretty. We got their and the house was a freaking mess... girls are nasty bru. After some deep cleaning i was back to happy. Im loving it so much and the views are already so much better.
